Kale Caesar Salad

This recipe you have to try to believe, you will be excited you have found a new easy way to eat Kale.

Kale Caesar Salad

 

  • Cut the Blade (leafy part of the Kale) from the Petiole (the spine in the middle of the leaf)
  • Wash the Kale like any other salad green and toss with Caesar Salad Dressing

 

 

 

Caesar Salad Dressing

 

  • ·         1 Clove Garlic: Crushed and Chopped
  • ·         ½ cup Olive Oil
  • ·         ¼ tsp Dry Mustard
  • ·         1 ½ tsp Salt
  • ·         Generous grate of Pepper
  • ·         A few drops Worcestershire Sauce
  • ·         3 Tb Wine Vinegar
  • ·         Juice of ½ to ¾ of a Lemon
  • ·         2 to 3 Tb Parmesan Cheese
  • ·         1 egg yolk (Optional)
  • ·         5 Fillets Anchovy mashed (Optional)

 

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk together and toss with Kale.
