Winter CSA Share November 20-23

Posted 11/19/2010 5:09am by Andre Cantelmo.
It's almost Thanksgiving and the weather looks like its about to turn seasonable. We've been in a hurry to harvest our root crops for storage as well as some of the less hardy leafy crops. The carrot crop looks very good although we'll have many days of topping ahead of us. We're trying to get the crop up before the holiday so if any of you want to get your hands in the soil and harvest some carrots give Andre a call at 603 591-8720.
We've had some complaints that e-mails aren't being answered. Although we don't always answer them immediately, we don't ignore e-mails. We believe there might be a problem with the e-mail address connected to the website. Some alternative addresses are andre_cantelmo@yahoo.com  or heronpondfarmnh@comcast.net . We hope that this gives folks an easier way to communicate with Andre and I.
Another reminder for Portsmouth folks, the pickup next week will be on Tuesday, not Wednsday.
Lastly, this would be a great time to take care of any balances. You can mail payments or bring them to your pickup.

Here is the share:

1 lb broccoli
1 lb cauliflower
2 brussel sprout stalks
2 lbs carrots
4 lbs potatoes
4 onions
1 garlic
6 apples
2 pie pumpkins
2 winter squash
1 bunch Hakurei Turnips
1 bunch swiss chard
1 bok choi

Enjoy your holiday,  Greg
